All of the graduate students in the Cancer Biology Program are enrolled in the Ph.D. program. The Master's degree is awarded only in rare instances. Currently, there are 40 students majoring in Cancer Biology. Students come from throughout the United States and from other countries, and they have diverse backgrounds and a broad range of research interests. Of the current students, ten are international students, and twenty-one are women. Twenty-one of the students are at the predissertator level, and 19 are dissertators. Twenty-five of these students are supported by institutional or individual fellowships. Fifteen are supported by research assistantships.
